Refund policy

If a fit or colour isn’t right for you, you can let us know that you wish to return your purchase. You do not need to give a reason.

Your withdrawal period

For standard pieces in our collection, you have 14 days to notify us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, starting the day after delivery. If items from one order arrive separately, the period starts after the last item is delivered. If it ends on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

Our pieces are decorated after you order, using Maison Deux Lutèce designs offered in our collection. This does not remove your right of withdrawal. Choosing a standard size or colour does not, by itself, make an item individually personalised.

Let us know

Email maisondeuxlutece@gmail.com with your name and order number, or use our online withdrawal form. A clear statement of your decision is sufficient; the model form below is optional. You do not need to give a reason or obtain prior approval to exercise this right.

Sending your piece back

Once you have notified us, you have 14 days to send the item back. We will give you the correct return address for your order: request it at maisondeuxlutece@gmail.com to avoid sending your parcel to the wrong recipient. This contact helps arrange the return; it is not a condition of your right to withdraw.

You pay the direct return shipping costs when you change your mind. If an item is defective, does not conform to your order or was sent in error, the statutory guarantee rules apply and the necessary remedy is provided at no cost to you.

You can try on a garment as you would in a shop. Keep its labels and protect it during transport. A deduction may only relate to a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to examine the piece. Missing original packaging does not automatically remove your right to withdraw.

Refunds

When you withdraw, we refund the amounts due, including the applicable standard delivery costs. The extra cost of a more expensive delivery service you chose does not have to be refunded. Delivery costs for a partial return are assessed according to the order, without an automatic exclusion.

The refund is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notification. We may withhold it until the returned goods or proof of dispatch are received, whichever happens first. We use your original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method at no cost to you. You are not required to accept store credit.

A fault or an incorrect item?

Contact us with your order number and a description of the problem. Photos can help us understand what happened; they do not limit your rights. The statutory guarantee of conformity applies to new goods for two years after delivery. The statutory guarantee against hidden defects also applies where its legal conditions are met.
